WaterBow is designed to last — and to leave a lighter footprint. Here's how to care for it, and why sustainability matters to us.

Good news: WaterBow is remarkably low-maintenance. Here's what you need to know.
Daily Use
You can leave the water in your WaterBow between sessions — no need to empty it every time. Tap water works perfectly fine. If you prefer, you can use distilled water, but it's not necessary.
A quick note: the water inside your WaterBow is not fit for drinking. It's for movement, not hydration!
Every Three Months
We recommend a simple refresh every three months or so: empty your WaterBow, give it a gentle wash with mild dishwashing liquid (nothing too acidic or harsh), rinse thoroughly, and refill with clean water. That's all it takes to keep things fresh.
Storage
Store your WaterBow wherever is convenient — with or without water inside. The organic cotton carrying bag it arrives in is perfect for keeping things tidy and protected from dust. A cool, dry place away from prolonged direct sunlight is ideal, but WaterBow handles normal room temperature variations just fine.
Avoid leaving it in extreme heat (like a hot car in summer) or freezing conditions for extended periods.
Cleaning the Outside
If you'd like to give the outside a wipe-down, use a soft cloth with water or a gentle, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers — they're not necessary and could damage the surface over time.
WaterBow is built to last for years of regular use. There are no batteries, no motors, no electronics — nothing to wear out or break down. It's just water, physics, and durable materials.
With reasonable care, your WaterBow should be a long-term companion in your movement practice. The German-engineered design has been refined over years of real-world use in fitness studios and homes across Europe.
We chose every material with both durability and environmental impact in mind.
The Bow (Translucent Ocean Blue)
Made from polypropylene (PP) containing more than 50% recycled content. PP is lightweight, durable, and fully recyclable. The translucent Ocean Blue color lets you see the water inside — both functional (you can check fill level) and beautiful.
The End Caps
Made from Bio-HDPE derived from sugarcane — a renewable, plant-based alternative to petroleum-based plastic. Same durability, smaller carbon footprint.
The Carrying Bag
Organic recycled cotton. Soft, durable, and reusable for years.
The Packaging
Unbleached, eco-friendly cardboard. Recyclable with your normal cardboard recycling.
We've worked hard to make WaterBow as sustainable as possible without compromising quality or durability.
Recycled Materials — The main bow contains more than 50% recycled polypropylene, giving new life to existing plastic rather than creating new.
Plant-Based Components — The end caps are made from sugarcane-derived Bio-HDPE, a renewable resource that absorbs CO2 as it grows.
Fully Recyclable — At the end of its long life, WaterBow can be recycled. The PP bow and HDPE end caps are both widely accepted in recycling programs.
Minimal Packaging — We ship in unbleached eco-friendly cardboard with no plastic inserts or unnecessary materials.
Built to Last — The most sustainable product is one you don't have to replace. WaterBow is designed for years of use, not planned obsolescence.
Yes. When your WaterBow eventually reaches the end of its useful life (which should be many years from now), all components are recyclable.
The bow — Polypropylene (PP), recycling code #5. Check your local recycling guidelines, as PP acceptance varies by location.
The end caps — HDPE, recycling code #2. Widely accepted in most recycling programs.
The carrying bag — Cotton, compostable or donate if still in good condition.
The packaging — Cardboard, recycle with your normal paper/cardboard.
If your local recycling doesn't accept PP, many grocery stores and retailers have plastic recycling drop-off programs that do.
