WaterBow uses a modular structure built around micro-flows, which combine into Day Trips (single sessions) and Journeys (multi-week programs). This system makes movement flexible, accessible, and deeply enjoyable for every body.
Micro-flows are short guided videos, typically 4β6 minutes long, each led by a qualified WaterBow guide with a clear purpose.
Every micro-flow is categorized by:
Phase Awakening (warm-up, activation), Exploring (strength, mobility, functional challenge), Celebrating (dance-inspired, expressive movement), or Reflecting (cool-down, stretch, nervous system reset).
Intensity Level Easy, Medium, or Advanced.
Focus Area (optional) Balance, Mobility, Strength, Core, Cardio Light, Coordination, Fascia, or Relaxation.
Micro-flows act like "movement LEGO blocks," giving structure, flexibility, and variety to every session.
A Day Trip is a full guided session, usually 15β45 minutes, built from a sequence of micro-flow guided videos.
How many phases does a Day Trip include?
A Day Trip can include three or four phases, depending on the goal and duration.

A full 4-phase Day Trip: Awakening β Exploring β Celebrating β Reflecting
How do longer Day Trips work?
To extend a Day Trip to 40 minutes or more, you add multiple Exploring or Celebrating micro-flows in the middle. The Awakening (warm-up) and Reflecting (cool-down) typically stay as single phases, while the core of your session grows through additional middle phases.
Of course, if someone prefers a very calming experience focused purely on gentle activation and relaxation, they could customize their session differently. With the upcoming platform and app, you'll have full flexibility to create your own Day Trips and Journeys however you like.

Our trainers weave light storytelling into the guided videos, helping you mentally "travel" as you move. Think African savanna adventures, ocean journeys, waterfalls and rivers, jungles and rainforests, escaping crocodiles, and mountain explorations.
Combined with the sound of flowing water, music, sensory cues, and reflective language, this creates escapism, presence, and joy.
A Journey is a structured multi-week program built from multiple Day Trips.
Example: 4-Week Journey 3 Day Trips per week with guided progression, theme-based storytelling, and whole-body mobility and strength benefits.
Journeys give structure and consistency without feeling rigid or repetitive.
With the upcoming WaterBow online platform and mobile app, you'll be able to create your own Day Trips and build your own Journeys.
Create Your Own Day Trips Combine micro-flow guided videos, choose phases, intensity, and focus areas, select your preferred themes and music, and customize the duration.
Build Your Own Journeys Design multi-week personal programs on your schedule with your goals. Save and repeat your favorite flows, track progress, and share with the community (future release).
